The facility offers campsites with clean ablution facilities. The campsites have sweeping river views and the terrain is scattered with a large variety of indigenous trees and offers incredible bird life for the keen bird-watcher.
Spend your days in the shadows of the large trees and listen to their gentle whispers at night while sleeping under a star-studded sky far away from any city life. Located only 32 km from Martin’s Drift/Groblersbrug Border Post, it is only a four-hour drive from Johannesburg and a four-hour drive from Gaborone. The property is accessible by all vehicles.
"It was a great stop over before crossing the border, a great way to end off the holiday. Very peaceful next to the river, lots of birds and also saw crocodile in the river. Ablutions were very neat. I would recommend this place." - Mandy Joubert
"A scenic campsite alongside the Limpopo and spotless ablutions, what more does a camper want? With embroidered and (believe it or not!) fluffy towels in the bathroom, we were bowled over. Five star treatment, to say the least. We loved browsing the majestic trees with their name tags. We'll definitely recommend African Ranches River Camp." - Romi Boom
"What a stunning camp! Surely one of the most ideally situated one that anyone could have set out. The bird life is abundant, view is beautiful and with just three campsites, a neighbour couldn't possibly be a bother! The sites are roomy and the bathrooms well maintained and Sam is a speedy treat on his quad bike. We'll certainly stay again." - Nadene Visser
